The Villages Competitive Pickleball Club is happy to announce that we are evaluating VIPR – Villages Internal Pickleball Rating in our Men’s and Ladies’ Summer Ladder Leagues. VIPR is a new dynamic rating system designed specifically for pickleball players in The Villages. The primary goal is to have a more accurate and transparent rating system that will result in more balanced, competitive and fun pickleball in TV.
Only players that play in the TVCPC Men’s or Ladies’ Summer Ladder Leagues will have a VIPR and take part in the evaluation. DUPR will continue to be used to rank the players for the summer league season. After the summer league is over, decisions will be made with feedback from players about possible future use of VIPR in TVCPC leagues.
The VIPR website contains player ratings from the summer ladder leagues as well as much more information about VIPR.
